Businesses are increasingly waking up to the fact that a well-developed app can add huge value, from driving efficiencies to improving customer experience. In the past few months alone, we have been commissioned to develop innovative apps for a wide range of clients from across industry.
We are working with Magna Food Health and Safety, to enhance its digital platform. We’re developing a mobile app, which will help the organisation become more efficient and sustainable. It will be installed on tablets in food preparation areas and kitchens. Instead of filling in mandatory compliance reports every day using a paper based system, this will now be done via the app.
All these forms will then be sent daily to a web portal so that they can be reported on and used for FSA audits.
We are also thrilled to announce we are working with SMART Estimator. We’re developing an app for use by automotive engineers, allowing them to more quickly, easily and accurately produce repair quotes for damaged vehicles. It will allow engineer to travel to the location of the damage vehicles, record details of the damage including photos and produce a cost estimate on-site that is then emailed to the client.
We are also creating ‘a panic button app’ for lone workers such as care workers, security guards and cleaning staff. In the event that they need help, become injured or attacked, users can tap the icon on their phone that will do three things:
- Call the control centre so they can hear what is going on
- Send a text message to a pre-configured number with the GPS coordinates
- Send an alarm over the internet to the alarm system with a map showing the current location
We specialise in helping clients drive growth by harnessing digital technology and see app development as a key way to do just this. If you’re thinking of developing an app, or just want to find out more about how you can better harness digital technology, get in touch today.
